Enercon E82 – 2MW Wind Turbine System
This amazing Wind Turbine is specially designed for medium wind speeds, the ENERCON E82 wind turbine – with the new rotor blade design and tower versions up to 108m hub height – guarantees excellent yields in the 2 MW category, even at inland sites. The E-82 is a wind energy converter with a three bladed rotor, active pitch controls, variable operating speed and a rated power of 2000 kW. Its 82 m rotor diameter and 78 – 108 m hub heights enable the turbine to make efficient use of the prevailing wind conditions at the respective sites to produce electrical energy.
Output controlled by variable speed allows the E-82 to attain maximum operation efficiency without increasing operating loads in the full and partial load ranges and at the same time prevents undesirable output peaks thus guaranteeing excellent yield and a high quality of power fed into the grid. This turbine is a flagship of precision and advanced German engineering.
